Be a changemaker! Help advocate for gluten-related disorders in schools!

Updated: Oct 19, 2023

School nurses can be a critical part of a child's time in school. They may catch things that parents or pediatricians cannot, just by seeing the child at a different time or during different events - ex. lunch time or physical education. But does your school nurse understand all the symptoms that can be seen in a child with celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity?

It's easy to help bring gluten-free education directly to your school with this school nurse advocacy training. First, watch this quick training video available on YouTube. Next, fill out this form to receive your school nurse packet: bit.ly/signupGIGnurse (or you can email us directly at caresadmin@gigcares.org) and then you'll be ready to start advocating!
