Teen Summit 2026

What's Teen Summit all about?

Living gluten-free as a teenager can feel isolating at times, but you don't have to do it alone! The Teen Summit is your chance to meet other teens who understand the challenges and joys of living gluten-free. Our mission is simple: provide a supportive community where you can be yourself, learn, grow, and make memories that last a lifetime.

What happens at Teen Summit?

Each year, we bring together gluten-free teens from across the country to enjoy a variety of activities. From cooking classes that teach you how to make gluten-free meals like a pro, to outdoor adventures that challenge and inspire, every Teen Summit is a unique experience.

Frequently asked questions:

Q: This event overlaps with the beginning of my teen’s school year. How did you pick these dates?

A: We understand this is a challenge. School start dates vary widely across the U.S., and we had only two possible weekends available for this event. Choosing a time that worked for everyone without overlapping major holidays was tricky, but we selected the option that gave the most balance.

Q: I want my teen to attend but I cannot bring them. What should I do?

A: On your teen’s registration ticket, select “They will be flying solo…” so we can plan transportation accordingly. We’ll make sure your teen arrives at CBR safe and sound.

Q: Is there a scholarship available?

A: Yes! The scholarship application will open on October 1st. Keep an eye out for details.

Q: Is the total cost of Teen Summit really $400?

A: Yes. We worked hard to keep this event as affordable as possible. Our goal is for your teen to have an incredible experience, without financial stress.

Q: Do you have a refund policy?

A: At this time, we do not offer standard refunds. We encourage you to wait until you’re certain before purchasing a ticket. Refunds may be considered in special circumstances.

Q: Who will be supervising the teens?

A: A mix of staff and volunteers will be onsite, and all adults working with teens will have completed background checks. Safety is our top priority.

Q: Is this a sleepaway-style event?

A: Yes! Part of the Teen Summit experience is encouraging independence in a safe and supportive environment. Teens will have plenty of time to learn, connect, and have fun while being cared for by our team.

Q: My teen has food allergies besides gluten. Will they be able to eat safely?

A: Absolutely. We will be working closely with CBR’s kitchen staff to ensure safe, inclusive meals for all participants. Please let us know your teen’s specific needs on their registration form.
